Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T Tyres

The Baja Boss A/T is the extreme all-terrain in the Mickey Thompson range, built for 4WDs that split their time evenly between bitumen and the tracks. It takes what worked on the earlier ATZP3 and adds an asymmetrical tread, so the inner and outer halves of the tyre do different jobs: one side is tuned for stable, even-wearing highway running and the other for bite in loose and rocky ground.

What sets it apart

• Asymmetrical tread design for on-road stability and off-road traction from one pattern, with more even wear.
• Oversized sidebiters that grip when aired down and shield the sidewall from rocks and ruts.
• Built-in stone ejectors that push stones out of the grooves before they can drill into the casing.
• PowerPly XD construction: thicker sidewall cords for better puncture resistance and quicker steering response.
• Chemically-coupled silica compound for lower rolling resistance, stronger wet grip and better cut and chip resistance.
• Severe weather rated.
